I also already have most of the legends so they don't seem to avoid giving them to you either.NBA Playgrounds: Watch the Gameplay Trailer, New Details Even though I have over half the players in the game now, most of my packs are still all new. Like in the first game, they appear to rig packs in your favour to avoid duplicates. Bronze card packs appear to be substantially better value than the more expensive packs. In the 3-point contest, you can let the meter bounce back from the end to give you more time to line up the shot. It's also easier to block the dunks of shorter players. Note that even with perfect positioning, a successful dunk block is always random and is determined by your block stat. Layups are still best blocked from the back, though. I've had the best luck blocking dunks from the side in this game. In the first game, the best place to block a dunk was from behind, but this seems less effective in the sequel. Putbacks also never miss, so they're the best way to score when affected by the curse lottery pick. Make sure your teammate is close to the basket though as they won't have much time to get in position. An easy way to set up a fairly consistent putback is to fail a dunk by holding the A button all the way to the end. Putbacks are done by rebounding when the ball bounces low and close to the net.
